Hoa Lu and Tam Coc are the two most favorite
sightseeing places of Ninh Binh. Hoa Lu once was the capital of the country in
Dinh Dynasty (968-1009); and Tam Coc (the Three Caves) are of the most beautiful
caves in Vietnam. Besides visiting these places, you can also enjoy some other
enchanting places like Trang An eco-tourism area, Kenh Ga hot spring, Cuc Phuong
National park, or Bai Dinh - the biggest pagoda of the country.
Start a coach trip at 8:00 AM to Ninh Binh, 100 km
down the South of Hanoi to see Hoa Lu Citadel, the first capital of Vietnam in
the 10th century with visiting Temples of King Dinh & King Le. Lunch in Vietnamese restaurant.
In the afternoon have 2 hours rowing boat trip passing underneath of Tam Coc
Caves, famous as so called “Dry Halong Bay”, the same limestone rocks lying on
rice fields with a stream instead of the sea. At 3 pm return to Hanoi.
