The 13th Guide Awards have been presented to 120 local tourism
businesses, according to the Vietnam Economic Times on August 13.
The award winners include hotels, resorts, restaurants, beauty salons,
healthcare services and travel agents across the country that demonstrated
outstanding performance over the past year.
This year’s award recipients include well-known hotels and travel agents such as
the Caravelle Hotel Saigon, the Melia Hanoi, Buffalo Tours, and Luxury Travel.
Criteria for the awards are based on infrastructure, service quality, and
environmental friendliness, as well as contributions the tourism businesses made
to the community.
The winners were voted by readers of The Guide, Vietnam’s leading tourist
magazine. An awards ceremony will be held in the southern city of Vung Tau on
August 18.
