hi Nga, hope you are in good shape.
as promised, here's partial feed back. i've thought over the north vnam
bit.
hanoi-- hotel location not excellent. hotel good. due to traffic from
the airport we lost a lot of time. am not sure we saw enough of hanoi.
halong bay---good. jujk boat/staff very good.
sapa!!! we didn't have a good experience.
hotel--good location. but we had a major problem with the bathroom
leakage.
train to sapa transfer --no problem
breakfast that morning was a disaster. the guide took us to a very shady
restaurant, half way up some steep slope.apparently this was the guide's
personal choice, as he works there part time and kept referring to this
as 'my restaurant'!!
very dirty. i ended up in the kitchen checking/cooking my own breakfast
as they didn't understand anything, everything was filthy and even the
fresh fruit was all dirty and stale.and i didn't trust anybody.
lunch--yet another disaster. local family lunch not a good idea.the
guide had planned to cook for us as we are vegetarians. there was no
family around. we sat on benches doing nothing. there were random people
around. after the breakfast experience, we didn't want any lunch anyway.
we didn't see the local home/architecture--no people--no daily
lifestyle--no exclusive customs. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME.
we feel the whole idea should be scrapped and instead more time should
be spent trekking and enjoying the natural beauty.
dinner-- we were going to self arrange and told the guide we are eating
European food. he PARTLY paid the bill. we paid the balance.
NEXT DAY-----
there was no organised day here. we had a short walk down to the
waterfall and returned by jeep. started around 9.30 and were done and
waiting for the jeep pick-up by 11.45. back to hotel by 12 noon. no trip
to hydraulic power station!
there was no picnic lunch and anyway we didn't trust the guide with food
anymore.
there was no further trekking to sia chai or up to the foothills of
fansipan. in fact we didn't see the fansipan/guide never mentioned.
ON THE WHOLE, A WASTED JOURNEY DUE TO YOUR LOCAL GUIDE/LOCAL TOUR
COMPANY. THERE WERE A LOT OF OTHER CAPABLE GUIDES AROUND. MAY BE YOU
WANT TO LOOK INTO THIS.
FORTUNATELY, WE KEPT OURSELVES AMUSED AND KEPT THINKING POSITIVE AND OF
FORTH COMING PLACES.
THE TRAIN JOURNEYS WERE GOOD.
PLEASE NOTE, WE ARE NOT COMPLAINING.OUR VIETNAM EXPERIENCE, ON THE
WHOLE, HAS BEEN WONDERFUL. WE WOULD GLADLY RECOMMEND YOUR COMPANY TO OUR
FRIENDS. THIS FEED BACK IS OUR VIEW/EXPERIENCE AND IN CASE IT HELPS YOU
IN IMPROVING/CHANGING THINGS WHERE NECESSARY FOR CLIENT SATISFACTION.

Hello Than Mai!
We come back to Russia and everything is alright. Now I see photo of
Halong Bay and remember you with big thanks!
These 3 days were so pleasure for us. We marked firstly the wonderful
nature. We got very tasty seafood and nice service on the boat. Personal
thanks we say to our tour guide Mr. Phou (sorry, I don't know how his
name in English transcription) for interesting talks about Vietnam.
We have got excellent tour. I'll recommend Tuan Linh Travel to my
friends.

Hi Mai
We have arrived safely back in Sydney and would like to take this
opportunity to say thank you for organising a great day for us in Danang
/ Hoi An.
The guide and driver, Phu and Tho, did an excellent job.
As I have said before, we will be coming back to Vietnam in about 15
months time, so no doubt we will be using your services again.We will
start our tour in Hanoi,so maybe we might be able to meet you in person
!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Ms Nga,
Please accept my apologies for late response - I was going to write to
you immediately after my return, but got busy with some urgent matters,
so I am writing now.
I want to thank you personally and your agency for making our trip so
comfortable and pleasing. Indeed, with you support and guidance, while
being in Vietnam, my wife and I felt so much safe and taken care of, and
we never regretted that we chose your agency for travel arrangements and
Vietnam as a place to visit.
Your country is a truly beautiful land and all Vietnamese people whom we
met during our trip were friendly, cheerful, courteous and supportive in
every way.
I wish to confirm that all services (hotels and flight reservations,
Mekong and Halong tours arrangements, etc.) that we requested from you
have been properly fulfilled and we are 100% satisfied with the quality
of the services that you offer. Special thanks for taking your time in
Hanoi to come to personally see us in the Imperial hotel - it was very
nice of you, indeed.
After this trip we now have almost two thousand of photo pictures taken
in various beautiful corners of Vietnam to share with our relatives and
friends :).
And of course, I will be more than happy to recommend your agency to
everyone I know who may or will want to travel to Vietnam.
Also, our special thanks to your partner Ms Huong for taking care of us
in HCMC and to our guide for the Mekong river tour Mr Chen - he speaks
fluent Russian and he educated us a lot about the history and the
culture in Vietnam during the long ours of car drive and the boat
journey.
In the near future (may be next year) we may choose again Vietnam as a
place for vacation (we would like to explore other regions, such as Sa
Pa), and possibly visit Cambodia as well. So in this event we will
surely contact you again for the travel arrangements and other support,
because we are confident that you will provide first-class services to
make our trip a real joy.

Hi Mai
Thanks for your mail. We had a great tour, the guide from the resort,
Troung, was very good, he had a great knowledge about the animales, and
vegation.
The other two drivers could tell a little about things we saw between
the two destinations.
