HCM City 's well-known Rong Vang (Golden Dragon) Water Puppetry
Troupe will take part in the Kijimuna Festa 2012 in Japan from July 28 to August
6.
This is the second time Rong Vang was invited to perform at the Kijimuna Festa,
Japan 's most prestigious and popular theatre festival for children.
The troupe participated in the festival for the first time in 2009, two years
after it was founded in HCM City.
Kijimuna Festa is organised annually in Okinawa, featuring theatrical arts of
Japan and other countries.
This year, the festival will be held in Okinawa and Tokyo, with the
participation of troupes from 30 Asian and European countries.
Rong Vang will also perform at an international meeting of the International
Association of Theatre for Children and Young People (ASSITEJ) which will be
held in Okinawa at the same time as the Kijimuna Festa.
