In a move intended to facilitate passengers in boarding planes, VietJet Aviation Joint Stock Company (VietJet Air) has set up an automatic check-in kiosk system at airports where the firm is operating.
The airline, one of the low-cost airlines in Vietnam, has installed dozens of kiosks at such international airports as Tan Son Nhat in Ho Chi Minh City, Noi Bai in Hanoi, and Da Nang in Da Nang City, and has trained its staff to instruct passengers on how to use the auto check-in system.
With the system, which uses advanced and effective technologies, it will take a passenger about one minute to get through check-in procedures, the firm said.
This system will help ease the overloading of passengers waiting to carry out check-in procedures at airports and help passengers save time when boarding a plane, the firm said.
In addition, the airline has also set up check-in services through its website www.vietjetair.com to meet the diverse demands of passengers.
